About Monika
Monika Shepherdson is a Canadian visual fine artist who captures the vitality and energy that surrounds us each day using oil, acrylic and watercolour paints.
After leaving the business world in which she handled administrative functions for the franchise industry, she began her own business to help others with Fintrac compliance, bookkeeping, business plans and policy development. Her latent artistic abilities springboarded once she was able to let them soar. Self-trained since 2009, she was awarded at the Markham Mayor's Show, and exhibited at the McKay Art Centre for several years.
Many of her works are collected internationally.
She continues her art education with various Masterclasses.
She is a member of the Barrie Art Club, IWS (International Watercolour Society of Canada), and NOAPS (National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society).
“I make people feel wonderful by sharing my art with them. I also help solve their gifting ideas by providing paintings for their walls, graphic design such as family trees or portraits, and recently have published 3 Art Journals, to assist those who want to start creating their own art.
Workshop videos are also available which many of her students enjoy watching and painting along.”

Graphic Design
Monika enjoys designing custom images such as Family Trees, Greeting Cards, Cartoony style Animal Portraits, Colouring pages for Adults and would be happy to discuss your idea with you.
Workshops
Classes are available anytime with downloadable Online Lessons or one-on-one as schedule allows.

Actual colours may vary slightly due to photography lighting. Also, every computer has a screen resolution that may show colours differently.
